April 2022 Newsletter - Memberships Are Open!

Updated: Mar 4, 2023

PERTH WATER SPORTS CLUB 2022 – MEMBERSHIPS ARE OPEN! Hello all and welcome to the up-and-coming 2022 season! The club now invites you to submit your 2022 season memberships at this link, which can also be found on our new website! In preparation for the season starting, we are looking to host a cleaning and maintenance day, as we have done over the past few years, to get the clubhouse fresh for the year!

The maintenance day is currently planned for Sunday the 24th of April from 14:00. It would be great to see as many of you there as possible – many hands make light work! Thankfully this year we are returning to normality and are expecting to have a normal use of the clubhouse. Therefore, we will be returning to the previous system of the slipway being locked by a key which is kept within the clubhouse. Upon membership submission each member will be given the clubhouse passcode [and no it’s not the one that was accidentally sent out with the last newsletter 😂]. Memberships and insurance documentation, where applicable, must be provided to the committee before any activity on the water. The committee would also like to emphasise that a guest membership must be paid for all guests who attempt a sport on the water.

May we please ask all members to familiarise themselves with the club rules, which can also be found on the website. The club would like to thank everyone for enjoying our sports safely around other river users. The committee do meet with other river-based clubs to make sure they are aware of us and where we will be, but we must keep an eye out for others too!

SINCERELY,

YOUR COMMITTEE
